Ready to get wickedly Weird with The Outer Dark? Needing something new to spark your imagination? Tired of being a shut-in with nothing to do, nowhere to go?  Mark Bode – Became a professional comic artist since the age of 15 when he was hired Mark Bodeto color Vaughn Bode’s (his father) black and white strip Zooks, for Heavy Metal Magazine. He is known for Miami Mice, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the science fiction graphic novel series COBALT 60. He is also a mural artist, a tattooist, and a toy and clothing designer. Mark is presently working with a team of animators and actors to self-produce an AR-animated Cobalt 60comic book, to be produced as a live action movie, directed by Zack Snyder of DAWN OF THE DEAD (the remake), Frank Miller’s “300”, and his smash hit THE WATCHMEN. David BowlesDavid Bowles – Award-winning Mexican-American author who has written fourteen books, including THE SMOKING MIRROR and FEATHERED SERPENT, DARK HEART OF SKY. In April 2019, Penguin published THE CHUPACABRAS OF THE RIO GRANDE, co-written with Adam Gidwitz. His work has also appeared in venues such as Apex, Nightmare, The Dark, Eye to the Telescope, Strange Horizons, Translation Review, and Rattle. Heather Buckley (Twitter @_HeatherBuckley) – As a journalist for HeatherBuckleyover a decade, she contributed to Dread Central, Diabolique and Fangoria. She worked in the makeup department on Billy Pon’s CIRCUS OF THE DEAD, and then as Makeup FX Shop Supervisor on The Booth Brothers’ SYFY channel film DEAD STILL and Ted Geoghegan’s WE ARE STILL HERE. She is currently a Blu-Ray Special Features Producer for Red Shirt Pictures, Severin Films, Kino Lorber and Liongate working on documentaries (over 100 and counting), which include THE THING, THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD, BARTON FINK, ARMY OF DARKNESS and more. She is also one of the producers on Jen Wexler’s THE RANGER for Glass Eye Pix and Hood River Entertainment, a punk rock horror film which premiered at SXSW 2018.
